Cool. I am amused though that people think of all grasshoppers as green. We have some here in Fl that are black with yellow stripes and some that are multicolored. Great post.
You are right, there are variety of grasshoppers. Even in India we have brownish black or simply brown etc. But somehow when i think of grasshoppers, green comes to my mind. So your amusement is completely justified. Thanx. :)
