Future Beckons

The magic of the past
Is technology of the present
The riddles of yesterday
Have been solved today
The lock that secured our past
Its key we hold today
Its time for successful handover
To pave way
For the future that beckons

  9. it's very deep.....deeper that it appears at the first glance...I would need to get a scuba diving training to access that depth :)

PS- You are one of those rare poets i have come across whose poems carry that power without making exaggerated use of heavy words. (Y)

  18. You mean to say! Kal Aaj Aur Kal..... Successful! Great thoughts indeed. Unfortunately everybody is trying to steal that key rather than handing over to the future generations!.

    1. Kal aaj aur kal, yes definitely!!
Yes thats the sad fact but the good thing is that a timely reminder should keep coming for the change we wish to see, for a future we want...

  19. First time here, so thanks for posting to Real Toads! Love your blog setup, BTW.

I don't know how old you are, but you write with great depth and wisdom. Too bad the oldsters are often too greedy to hand over that key... or perhaps we aren't teaching our young ones the right lessons in order to be entrusted with the key?

Thoughtful, beautifully written. Loved it, and peace to you, Amy

      Thanx again for appreciating!
Old and young has nothing to do with maturity I guess, understanding n experience counts.

Have a great day, take care:)
      Peace.

  21. Great writing Kislaya! Passing the baton is not an easy ritual! They turn out to be either not ready or are irresponsible later. These are not easy to determine in the beginning! Nicely!
