both are delightful. I too used to watch aladdin when i was kid! I saw your comment on my blog, thank you! :) I was shocked when I saw only pictures of Princess Jasmine. I am a big fan of animated movie though, but nothing precedes nature. Even here, first haiku is about nature. and only then, the princess! ;) I enjoyed reading them!
Both are beautiful...Well done .Kislaya Gopal...a budding poet here...nice to see your thoughts about writing...it would encourage many others to follow path...
Hahaha!! Finally Alladins Jasmine is immortalized in your Haiku!!...and in southern parts of India, Jasmine flower garlands are extensively used to adorn deities, temples and palanquins!!So 'Blessing showers' makes it so appropriate in the haiku!!
Thank You, Nanka Mam. Regarding the garland of jasmine flowers, thanx for the information. Also I read your haiku and you have beautifully picturised the garland strings and the market place :)
Keep it up KG...you create good haiku...appreciate your comment on my blog..
Can you reach out to Panchali and tell her that I read her haiku with interest and can't get to comment on her page because of some technicalities...I am not a very computer savvy person..
nice imagery...:)
ReplyDeleteBut, is your syllable count ok??
