Next day, I called my college friend over the phone and told her about the emotions I was experiencing. She told me to be happy. She confessed that she suffered severe post-partum depression and had to seek professional help. She explained that my feelings were completely normal. She said whatever she had gone through post-pregnancy was like a nightmare. Her son is now 6 years old and she can't imagine her life without him! He is an integral part of her life, her being!
When we sow a seed - we nurture it with compost, water, and love. Similarly, the seed of life had rooted in me. I was blessed. I thanked the Almighty.
Now, I waited patiently for the bud to bloom!
